A brief history…

Archway Press, Inc. was founded in 1939 by Mr. Irv Stupine, an immigrant from Europe. Located first on Arch Street in Philadelphia, hence the name, Archway Press, Mr. Stupine later moved the company to a larger building located at 470 North Ninth Street.Upon his retirement, John & Doris Iannelli purchased the company in 1979. Their son, John Jr., joined the company in 1983. Archway Press relocated to its current address in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania in 1987. In 1994, John and Doris’ daughter and son-in-law, Nina and Tom Gaffney, joined the company and soon became the principal owners upon her parents’ retirement.

Printing production has changed greatly over the last 80 years. In the early days of Archway Press, printing was produced mainly through the letterpress process. Over the years, as printing has evolved so has Archway. From letterpress to offset and now digital printing along with full bindery and mailing services, Archway is continuing our commitment to quality and personalized service. Our dedication to that principle has brought us to this milestone and remains the foundation of our mission
